Thought to be one of the oldest ferry companies in the world, P&O Ferries history can be traced as far back as 1837.
Founded in Southampton, then known as The Peninsular Steam Navigation Company, they began taking British passengers to foreign destinations in the 1840s. They established ferry services in the 1960s and today they boast the largest fleet of ships of any UK ferry company.
Offering a wide range of services and facilities onboard, they travel to multiple European destinations across the Channel, North Sea and Irish Sea.
